No live data is shown anywhere. The dashboard keeps using SAMPLE DATA. The live connection is read-only: it never writes to Podio, sends email, creates webhooks, hands off to Dispatch or imports in bulk. Handoffs, lead creation and follow-up updates would later need separate write access.

Buttons stay off until admin sign-in, all four secrets and the live-read switch are ready. The server re-checks all of them on every request; only redacted messages come back.

Field mapping (from the real Sales app)

Available after “Discover Sales app fields” succeeds. Each dashboard field is matched to an actual Podio field ID and type; nothing is matched by position, and Podio's app setup is never changed.

Live preview (separate from sample records)

No live record loaded. A preview shows one real lead here only; it is not saved and never mixed into the sample records.

How the owner supplies credentials

  1. In Podio, open the Sales app → wrench (settings) → Developer. Confirm the app name and copy its App ID and App Token there — never paste them in chat.
  2. Get a Client ID and Client Secret from Podio → Account settings → API keys.
  3. Save all four only in Lovable's encrypted secure form (Lovable → project Settings → Secrets, or the secure form shown in chat), using the exact names above. Never paste them in chat.
  4. Sign in as the owner and claim admin on the Account page. Then add the secret PODIO_LIVE_READS_ENABLED with the value true, reload this page, and press Test connection.
